Description

When we think of theater, we might picture big Broadway shows like Phantom of the Opera or Hamilton, or classic Shakespearean plays. But there’s a whole world of historical styles and cultures that helped shape the theater we know today! In this exciting class, young actors will dive into classical acting techniques from ancient Greek, French, and English theater, learning how these traditions influenced modern performance. With scenes from classic plays, students will explore new roles, expand their acting skills, and discover the roots of theater in a fun and interactive way. Perfect for young performers ready to experience the drama, wit, and creativity of classical theater!
