CWorks Performing Arts Classes

CharacterWorks offers a variety of musical theater inspired classes in 8-week sessions in fall, winter and spring. Classes are a great way for students to gain valuable theater arts training, develop confidence and make life-long friends. Class Info

Each class lasts for 1 hour and 45 minutes per week, runs for 8-weeks for a fall, winter and spring session and costs $275 per session. All children ages 6-18 may register for a class in their age group. In the final week of the class session, classes each perform a 10-minute showcase for family and other classes in their session. Students enrolled in classes for ages 8-18 are eligible to audition for the one of the session's main stage shows. 

Spring 2025 Class Registration Schedule
Wednesday, February 5th
  • 5PM - Registration opens for Spring Classes for ages 12-18, and all Academy classes
  • 6PM - Registration opens for Spring Classes for ages 6-11
NOTE: If you're a new CWorks family, we recommend creating a user account before registration begins, because classes and camps fill quickly and creating an account takes a few minutes.

Tuesday classes (4:30 - 6:15pm and 6:45 - 8:30pm) - Gayton Baptist Church, Short Pump

Winter 2025 Class Schedule 
  • Monday classes at Kingsway: December 2, 2024 - February 10, 2025 (NO classes Dec. 23, Dec. 30, Jan. 27, Showcase is Feb. 10)
  • Tuesday classes at Gayton: December 3, 2024 - February 11, 2025 (NO classes Dec. 24, Dec. 31, Jan. 28, Showcase is Feb. 11) 
  • Thursday classes at KingsWay: December 5, 2024 - February 13, 2025 (NO classes, Dec. 26, Jan. 2, Jan. 30, Showcase is Feb. 13) 

Spring 2025 Class Schedule 
  • Monday classes at Kingsway: March 10 - May 12, 2025 (NO class Mar. 31, Apr 21, Showcase is May 12)
  • Tuesday classes at Gayton: March 11 - May 6, 2025 (NO class Apr. 1, Showcase is May 6) 
  • Thursday classes at Kingsway: March 13 - May 8, 2025 (NO class Apr. 3, Showcase is May 8)
